You will never know the many beautiful moments I’ve experienced at this place because beauty is a perspective, unless you’ve felt the same exact emotions I felt, you would judge and ruin the beauty and corrupt my memory so.

Maybe you’ll call me naive or worst yet.
And so these memories will forever stay as memories and not as stories shared

True beauty in this world is the interaction we have with people. As free as we claim this world to be, certain things still can never be mentioned to others. and so, this place as beautiful as it is, will forever be a place of taboo. A place of indulgence, of passion, of freedom and of pain.

Life’s simplest pleasure is to embrace everything as it comes and not be attached to any of it, as nothing belongs to anything or anyone. Feel, experience it and let it pass by, that is true bliss.

To understand that nothing belongs to you, nothing is obligated to you, to understand that giving is simply a present, and to give freely without holding back, because it is not yours to withhold. That is how we become happy, that is how we reach nirvana. To accept your feelings and be okay with the way that the world works and that sometimes things don’t go the way you want and that’s all just part of life.

A moment that only exists on the border of this world, the twilight hour. All that which passes between time and space. As day turns into night; slowly, gently, engulfed and devoured whole.

"There’s another world that parallels our own, and to a certain degree you’re able to step into that other world and come back safely. As long as you’re careful. But go past a certain point and you’ll lose the path out. It’s a labyrinth…Things outside you are projections of what’s inside you, and what’s inside you is a projection of what’s outside. So when you step into the labyrinth outside you, at the same time you’re stepping into the labyrinth inside. Most definitely a risky business." -Kafka on the Shore

In accordance with the law of Karma, we receive what we deserve. If we approach our Meditation practice from the point of view “I want experiences,” we have to realize that this is a desire, it is covetousness, it is attachment. If we approach our Meditation practice from the point of view of “I want to change, I want to be a better person,” then this is good. Experiences will come naturally when the conditions are right. You do not need to worry about that. Whether the experiences come or do not come, your focus should be on comprehension.

"Be present. Make love. Make tea. Avoid small talk. Embrace conversation. Buy a plant, water it. Make your bed. Make someone else’s bed. Have a smart mouth, and quick wit. Run. Make art. Create. Swim in the ocean. Swim in the rain. Take chances. Ask questions. Make mistakes. Learn. Know your worth. Love fiercely. Forgive quickly. Let go of what doesn’t make you happy. Grow." Paulo Coelho

Into the woods, to rediscover who you are, to remember.

"The mind I love must have wild places, a tangled orchard where dark damsons drop in the heavy grass, an overgrown little wood, the chance of a snake or two, a pool that nobody’s fathomed the depth of, and paths threaded with flowers planted by the mind."— Katherine Mansfield

When winter has beaten the world into the ground, the day comes when the sun rises, the earth starts to thaw, and the flower makes its way to the surface. No matter what sorrow you have gone through, you will rise again.

You were laying on your back and I climbed onto you
I can no longer remember what we were laughing about
but it was one of those perfect moments that you see in movies.
You placed your hands on my cheek, caressing me ever so gently
and in that moment, the world stopped.
I looked down at you and I smiled questioningly.
the warmth of this moment has stayed untainted by everything we’ve became.
Two people drunk in our newly found infatuation, unaware of all the pain that was to come in the next five years.
Those memories are like these flowers, captured and framed, eternal.
